Religious fervour marks Ramzan

KADAPA: Thousands of Muslims offered Ramzan prayers with religious fervour at the Idgah near Built-Up junction here on Friday on Id-ul-Fitr festival.

Syed Arifullah Hussaini, Sajjad-e-Nasheen of Ameen Peer Dargah, popularly known as Pedda Dargah, graced the occasion and blessed the devotees. Minister for Minority Welfare Mohd. Ahmedullah, TDP Minority Cell State president Ameer Babu, TDP district vice-president S. Subhan Basha, Kadapa 
Superintendent of Police Tarun Joshi, exchanged greetings and took the blessings of the Sajjad-e-Nasheen. Idul-ul-Fitr namaz was also offered by devotees at Asthan-e-Shahmiriya under the auspices of Sajjad-e-Nasheen Syed Sha Mustafa Hussaini Bukhari, deputy Sajjad-e-Nasheen Noor Alam Bukhari and Mufti Syed Saleem Bukhari in Rahmathullah street on Ramzan.

Mutavali P. Ayub Khan conducted Id-ul-Fitr prayers at Masjid-e-Harjirabi in Gurralagadda street in Kadapa. Moulana Mohd. Mushiuddin Saheb Noori of West Bengal said Ramzan was a month in which Muslims should help the poor.
