KADAPA: Vigilance officials raided Balaji Fertilizers owned by Kadapa Mayor P. Raveendranatha Reddy, here on Wednesday and verification of vital records and stocks in the factory continued all day.
The raid assumed significance in the wake of seizure of six lorry loads of fertilizer belonging to the firm at Alamkhanpalle yesterday.
Kadapa Urban CI M. Venkatadri and staff arrested Rami Reddy, manager and Dinakara Reddy, transport supervisor of the unit and drivers of the six lorries carrying the stocks.
