Image via WikipediaKADAPA: Praja Rajyam SC cell members continued their hunger strike near Ambedkar statue for the second day on Monday denouncing Congress plans to put up nearly 24 statues of YSR in Kadapa.
Telugu Desam Party MLC M. Venkatasiva Reddy, city president K. Balakrishna Yadav, CPI(M) district secretary B. Narayana and Ambedkar Mission convenor A. Sampath Kumar expressed support to the protesters. Praja Rajyam district president B. Hariprasad alleged that Congressmen were planning to install several YSR statues in order to gain political mileage. Praja Rajyam SC cell leaders Suresh, Santhaiah, Mathaiah, Bhaskar and Padmavathi Bai undertook the fast.
