Jagan to lay stone for Bangalore railway line

KADAPA: Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy will lay the foundation stone for Kadapa-Bangalore railway line at Kadapa railway station on September 1.

The MP would unveil former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's statues at some places in Kadapa, he told newsmen here.

He would unveil YSR's statues at Janahita Circle at Alamkhanpalle and near District Cooperative Central Bank. He would inaugurate a community hall built on Town Church premises and releases the 10th anniversary issue of ‘Sayamkalam' daily.

Mr. Jagan would inaugurate new rooms constructed on District Cooperative Marketing Society premises and YSR Self-Employment Training Centre at Nagarajupet here, Mayor Ravindranath Reddy said. He would visit the house of some minority leaders and would take part in an Iftar being hosted by corporator S.B. Amjad Basha at Municipal Urdu Girls High School on September 1st evening.Recalling Sunday's protest by Dalit associations, he said he apologised to leaders of Ambedkar Mission and some Dalit organisations and to Praja Rajyam district president B. Hariprasad, if their sentiments were hurt.
